After a capacity audience last January, Mr. Bair is returning with KBW’s current thoughts and views. Always insightful and timely, this will be even more so in light of another year of significant M&A activity and severe natural catastrophes around the globe.  We look forward to hearing his analysis and views and the potential effects on, and prospects for, the publicly traded insurance and reinsurance market.

Mr. Bair is responsible for mergers and acquisitions, public and private capital raisings, mutual conversions and other investment banking services for the insurance industry. Prior to attending business school, he was a founding member of KBW’s insurance investment banking practice and worked in the financial services group of Alex, Brown & Sons where he covered insurance companies, depositories, and REITs.

Mr. Bair received a BA in Political Economy from Williams College and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

This meeting is open to all and registration is $95 per person for an excellent buffet lunch and the opportunity to hear from a leading investment banker specializing in our industry.

Mr. Kole is a partner in the Insurance & Reinsurance Group of his firm and is based in Boston, MA.  He is a well-known figure in the reinsurance arbitration, litigation and complex claim fields acting on behalf of both cedents and reinsurers in multiple disputes.  He is also an expert in insurance litigation, arbitration, ADR and coverages analyses on behalf of insurers in many areas such as mass tort as well as property and hurricane-related loses.

Century Indemnity Co.  Mr. Schwartz hardly needs any introduction as he is a very well-known attorney and highly experienced in insurance and reinsurance related matters and we are very fortunate to have him present on this perennial and, once again, timely topic.
